SNES Adapter 3 player play test
Tonight I had a 3 player play test with my kids using the SNES adapter on my C128. It went very well, everything was working theres the occasional odd non collision but I can live with that the main issues were around spreadfire balance for the lone player. It was intended to even out the 2v1 and it gives the lone player a pretty decisive advantage. After 4 games the lone player always had between 5-10 more pk. I'll just add a bit of delay to balance this out.
Firing while invulnerable was another issue my kids brought up so I'll try disabling that. The current behaviour is a lift and shift from Space Game! so I am going to try the suggestion
The game so far is a lot of fun and I am hoping to release it before or around May in this form as I tend to quit programming for most of the spring/summer and then in the fall I'll come back and make a Deluxe version with the powerups and game modes I wanted the final game to have.
